창원시의회, 기후위기·그린뉴딜 정책연구회 하반기 연구활동 시작

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시의회 의원연구단체인 기후위기·그린뉴딜 정책연구회(대표의원 전홍표)는 1일 시의회 소회의실에서 간담회를 갖고 올해 하반기 연구단체 활동을 시작했다.

기후위기·그린뉴딜 정책연구회는 창원시 그린뉴딜정책 실현을 통한 기후위기 대응 및 정책 개선을 연구하는 의원연구단체로 전홍표 대표의원을 비롯 김묘정, 문순규, 서명일, 이우완, 이원주, 최은하, 한은정 의원 등 총 8명이 소속돼 있다.

이날 간담회에서 이원주 의원을 총무로 선출하고, 2022년 하반기 의원연구단체 활동 계획 및 운영 일정과 정책연구과제 선정을 위한 심도있는 논의를 했다.

전홍표 대표의원은 “하반기는 창원의 해양자원을 활용한 그린뉴딜 관광사업 육성방안을 연구 과제로 삼았다”며 “기후위기 대응정책은 창원시의 미래를 넘어 개인과 기업, 사회 모두가 협업해 해결해 나가야 할 가장 중요한 과제”라고 말했다.

이어 “시민의 실생활에 도움이 될 수 있는 다양한 정책을 연구해 시정에 반영될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 기후위기·그린뉴딜 정책연구회는 오는 10월경 대중교통 활성화 방안 토론회 개최와 관내 원자력 사용 기업체를 방문할 계획이다.
