고양시가 드론을 이용해 안전하고 건강한 도시를 만들 예정이라고 2일 밝혔다.
고양시 컨소시엄이 ‘2022년 드론실증도시 구축사업(국토교통부·항공안전기술원 주관)’을 시작한 것이다.
고양시 컨소시엄은 이번 사업을 통해 안전점검 및 환경관리에 드론을 본격적으로 활용한다.

사업은 국비 12.5억원을 지원받아 3개 분야 6개 실증서비스 ▲열 수송관 안전점검 ▲실내외 시설물 노후화 점검 ▲발전소 주변 대기 측정 실증 ▲열섬 지도 제작 ▲IOT 드론 스마트팜 솔루션 구축 ▲하천 환경 모니터링 등이 추진된다.
현재 시는 1기 신도시 등의 노후 건물과 시설물 안전 사고를 예방하기 위해 ㈜휴인스, ㈜무한정보기술, ㈜에어센스와 함께 드론을 활용한 안전 점검을 실시하고 있다.

시는 드론으로 수집한 정보를 AI를 활용해 분석한 후 기존 재난 대응 체계를 보완하는 솔루션을 제공할 예정이다.
또한 시는 4월부터 ㈜에어센스와 함께 고양종합터미널 내 대형 조형물, 엘리베이터, 변전실 등 내부 시설물을 점검했으며 현재 데이터 분석, 시설물 3D 맵핑 작업을 진행하고 있다.
드론은 탄소중립 핵심과제 ‘그린인프라’ 구축에도 투입될 예정이다.
시는 현재 드론을 활용해 발전소 주변 대기 측정 실증, 열섬 지도 제작을 준비하고 있으며 9월 중 대기 측정을 위한 드론 비행을 실시할 예정이다.
시는 대기환경 정보를 수집하고 분석함으로써 폭염피해 취약지역을 밝히고 이에 대응하는 전략을 세울 계획이다.
농경지에도 드론을 활용한 스마트 농법이 도입된다.

시는 ㈜아쎄따와 함께 사물인터넷 기반 방제 서비스를 진행하고 있다.
지난 7월에는 고양시 농업기술센터, 벽제농협과 스마트 방제 앱 및 솔루션에 관련하여 회의를 진행했으며 현재 데이터를 수집 중이다.
스마트 방제 앱은 안정화 단계를 거쳐 다양한 농업 현장에서 사용될 예정이다.
하천 환경을 지키는 데도 드론이 투입된다.

시는 창릉천에 ㈜쿼터니언과 함께 드론을 활용해 ▲위험수목 ▲침수 피해 ▲교량 하부 불법 취수 ▲화재 등을 단속할 예정이다.
드론은 현재 특별비행승인을 준비하고 있으며 8월 중 비행 실증을 진행할 계획이다.
한편 고양시는 드론산업 육성 활성화를 위해 작년 개장된 고양대덕드론비행장에 TS한국교통안전공단 드론 상설실기시험장에 최종 선정되어 9월 중 시험장을 운영할 예정이다.
