[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군 수승대 일원에서 4년만에 개막한 제32회 거창국제연극제가 5일 폐막했다.
이날 폐막식은 구인모 거창군수, 박상원 조직위원장, 김일수 경상남도의회 경제환경위원장, 거창군의회 의원 등 내빈과 지역 문화예술 단체장, 연극인, 관람객 등 660여명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
제32회 거창국제연극제는 ‘BEGIN AGAIN 또 다른 세상, 꿈꾸는 열정’ 이라는 주제로 지난 7월 22일부터 8월 5일까지 15일간 1만5천명이 연극 피서를 즐겼다.
폐막식은 경연작품 시상과 내빈 폐막소감, 폐회 선언으로 진행했다. 먼저 올해 경연작품 수상작으로는 7개 팀의 치열한 경연을 뚫고 극단 공상집단 뚱딴지의 ‘후산부, 동구씨’가 단체 대상을 차지하는 영예를 안았다.
또한, 단체 금상은 극단 파란만장의 ‘산포면 내기리’가, 단체 은상은 극단 콘티의 ‘인계점’이 수상했으며 남자 주연상은 ‘산포면 내기리’에 출연한 김재만씨가, 여자 주연상은 연극 ‘인계점’에 출연한 이지영씨가 수상했으며 연출상은 ‘후산부, 동구씨’를 연출한 황이선씨에게 돌아갔다.

연극제의 마무리는 극단 해보마에서 영국의 대문화 세익스피어의 ‘맥베스’를 한국적으로 재해석한 작품인 ‘두드려라, 맥베스!’가 장식했다. 극의 중간중간 마당극 형식을 넣어 관객이 배우와 호흡하며 공연을 즐길 수 있었고, 공연 중 모든 음악은 배우들의 목소리와 전통악기들이 라이브 연주로 구성돼 연극만이 전할 수 있는 생생한 현장감을 구현하여 큰 감동을 주었다.
이번 연극제는 미국, 그리스 국외 공식 초청공연을 비롯해 프랑스, 우크라이나, 불가리아, 슬로바키아, 아프리카 연합 프린지 공연 등 해외 8개 팀을 포함한 56개 단체가 총 75회 공연을 펼쳤다.
작품들은 1인극, 마당극, 가족극, 음악극, 뮤지컬, 무용, 마임, 서커스 등 다양한 장르로 구성되었고, 연극 공연뿐만 아니라 수승대를 찾은 가족과 함께 즐길 수 있는 페이스. 네일 페인팅, 딸기청 에이드 만들기, 가면 꾸미기 등 다양한 체험부스 운영으로 연극제의 색다른 즐길 거리를 제공했다.
