김태흠 충남도지사가 집중호우로 인한 피해 최소화를 위해 배수 펌프장 등 주요 시설점검 및 피해 현장을 찾아 신속한 대응책 마련을 지시했다.
김 지사는 11일 오전 호우특보에 따른 현장점검을 위해 홍성군 광천읍 삼봉 배수 펌프장을 방문해 유슈지, 펌프, 수문, 스크린, 수·배전시설 등을 점검했다.
이 자리에서 김 지사는 “호우경보가 발효된 만큼 배수펌프장 등 수방시설 및 자재관리에 철저를 기해야 한다”며 “둔치 주차장이나 산책로, 지하차도와 주차장 등 침수 우려 시설은 선제적으로 통제할 수 있도록 준비해 달라”고 말했다.
시설 점검후 김 지사는 보령시 주교면으로 이동해 벼 침수 피해지를 살피며 도민의 피해가 최소화 될 수 있도록 빈틈 없는 대응 및 대책 마련을 강조했다.
충남 지역은 오전 11시 기준 천안, 공주, 보령, 계룡, 논산, 부여, 서천, 청양 8개 시군은 호우경보, 금산은 호우주의보가 발효 중으로 도는 비상2단계를 유지해 비상근무 중이다.
