독립기념관(관장 한시준)이 광복절을 맞아 이달 15일 ‘제77주년 광복절 경축 문화행사’를 개최한다.
이번 개최되는 ‘제77주년 광복절 경축 문화행사’는 광복절 당일 오전 10시부터 ▲온라인 사전신청을 통해 모집한 100가족이 참석하는 광복절 경축식을 시작으로 ▲가수 박정현, 마술사 최현우 공연 ▲K-타이거즈 태권도 공연 ▲뮤지컬 갈라쇼 등 모든 연령이 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 문화행사로 이루어진다.
더불어 대한민국임시정부 요인들이 광복 후 귀국시 탔던 ‘C-47 수송비행기’ 탑승체험, 광복군 의상체험, 포토존 등 독립운동 테마의 부대행사도 열린다.
또 이날 오후 2시에는 겨레누리관 컨벤션홀에서 국민교양강좌 “독립기념관장과 함께 듣는 광복군의 노래” 가 개최된다.
한시준 독립기념관장이 직접 독립운동에 대한 강의를 하고 독립군과 한국광복군이 즐겨불렀던 독립군가에 대한 해설과 감상시간도 마련된다.
광복절 특별 전시해설도 열린다. ‘태극기가 들려주는 독립운동 이야기’(3?5전시관), ‘독립과 가배’(홍보관)가 진행되며, 광복절에만 진행되는 해설콘텐츠로 꾸며진다.
해외에서는 8월 15일, 미국·멕시코·인도네시아·일본에 위치한 4개 기관에서 재외동포 및 외국인들을 대상으로 한국역사를 알리는 ‘체험형 전시상자 개막식’을 개최한다.
독립기념관이 개발한 이 전시물은 상자 안의 콘텐츠를 교체하여 매년 새로운 주제전시를 할 수 있는 지속가능한 구조물로, 이번에는 “태극기, 모두의 염원을 담다”를 주제로 기획됐다.
온라인에서는 오는 15일, 네이버 제페토에서 메타버스로 구현한 ‘대한민국임시정부 충칭청사’를 공개한다. 메타버스 대한민국임시정부 충칭청사는 실제 건물과 내부 집무실, 회의실 등이 동일한 형태로 구현됐다.
계단에 올라 사진을 찍거나 숨겨진 공간에 마련된 태극기 포토존을 이용하는 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 체험해 볼 수 있어 흥미를 더할 예정이다.
한시준 독립기념관 관장은 “우리 민족에게 광복은 특별한 의미가 있다. 우리 민족이 역사에서 사라질 위기에 처했다가 되살아난 것이 광복 때문이란 점에서 그렇다. 이러한 광복절의 기쁨을 독립기념관과 함께 되새기길 바란다”고 말했다.
