[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시의회 의원연구단체인 마을공동체활동연구회(대표의원 심영석)는 16일 시의회 소회의실에서 간담회를 갖고 본격 정책연구활동에 들어갔다.

마을공동체활동연구회는 타 지자체의 마을공동체 우수정책사례를 분석하고, 창원특례시 특성에 맞는 현실적이고 지속적인 정책을 연구하는 의원연구단체이다.

심영석 대표의원을 비롯해 권성현, 김헌일, 남재욱, 박해정, 서영권, 오은옥, 한상석, 황점복, 홍용채 의원 등 10명으로 구성됐다.

이날 간담회에서는 지난달 논의했던 연구활동 계획을 바탕으로, 마을공동체 지원센터 활성화 방안을 정책연구 과제로 구체화하고 향후 운영 일정 등을 논의했다.

심영석 대표의원은 “마을공동체연구는 ‘시민들이 살고 싶은 창원특례시’를 만들기 위한 중요한 분야”라며 “지역 단위 활동 분석을 통해 마을공동체 정책의 제도적 기반을 다지겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 마을공동체활동연구회는 오는 19일 의회 대회의실에서 창원특례시 마을공동체정책 추진을 위한 의회의 역할을 주제로 강연회를 개최한다.
