[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시가 산업통상자원부 주관 공모사업인 ‘2023년 신재생에너지 융복합지원사업’의 공개평가에 선정됐다.
신재생에너지 융복합 지원사업은 태양광, 태양열, 지열 등 2종 이상의 신재생에너지원을 동일지역에 설치하거나, 어느 한 구역에 1종 이상의 신재생에너지원의 설치를 지원하는 사업으로, 개인 소유의 주택 및 건물에 설치하며 시민들은 에너지 비용을 절감할 수 있다.
시는 신재생에너지 융복합지원사업 컨소시엄 모집 공고를 통해 신청자들 중 도시가스 등의 공급이 어려운 의창구 동읍, 대산면, 북면 일원과 진해구 웅동1동, 웅동2동, 웅천동 일원을 사업 대상지로 한 2개의 컨소시엄을 선정해 산업통상자원부 공모사업에 지난 7월 11일에 응모, 2일 공개평가를 거쳐 12일 선정됐다.
현장 평가 후 최종 선정 시 수요조사를 마친 태양광 500여 개소, 태양열 140여 개소에 총사업비는 70억원 정도로 2023년부터 사업을 시행할 계획이다.
홍남표 시장은 “이번 신재생에너지 융복합 지원사업을 통해 농어촌 소외지역에 우선해서 에너지비용을 절감 할 수 있도록 지원하고 향후 더 많은 시민들이 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 사업추진에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
