[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도는 2023년도 예산편성과 관련한 주요 현안 업무협의를 위해 ‘시·군 예산부서장 회의’를 19일 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 회의는 2023년도 본예산 편성에 앞서 민생 경제 회복과 ‘지방시대’ 구현을 위한 효율적 재정운용을 목표로 18개 시·군 예산부서장이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
회의는 2023년도 경남도 재정운용과 예산편성 방향에 대한 설명과 예산 현안사항을 공유하였고, 이에 따른 시·군 협조사항 안내와 시·군의 재정상황 및 애로사항 등을 청취했다.
경남도는 물가 상승, 부동산시장 침체 등으로 세수 확보가 불확실한 상황속에 법정 의무경비 등 의무지출과 도정 주요현안 수요가 지속적으로 증가하고 있어 건전재정을 위한 세출 구조조정을 추진 중이다. 이에 따라 ▲시·군 고유사무 신규사업 등 예산요구 지양 ▲하반기 재정 신속집행 적극 추진 ▲2023년도 국비확보 도-시군 공동 대응 ▲지방공공기관 혁신 및 경영 효율화 방안 모색 등의 사항에 대해 시·군에 협조를 요청했다.
경남도 예산담당관 관계자는 “지속적인 코로나19 사태와 정부의 대대적인 지출 구조조정과 맞물려 2023년도 예산편성에 어려움이 많으나 세출 구조조정과 시·군과의 협조를 통해 민생 경제 회복을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
