브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 의원의 배우자인 김혜경씨가 경기도 법인카드 유용 의혹 사건과 관련 23일 경찰에 출석했다.
김혜경 씨는 이날 오후 1시 45분경 피의자 신분으로 조사를 받기 위해 경기남부경찰청에 도착했다.
김씨는 청사 앞에 기다리고 있던 기자들이 '법인카드 사적 사용 인정하는가', '배모씨에게 음식 배달과 대리 처방을 지시했나', "경찰 조사에서 어떻게 소명할 건가' 등 다양한 질문을 했으나 어떠한 대답도 하지 않고 반부패·경제범죄수사대 조사실이 있는 별관 건물 안으로 들어갔다.
한편 김씨는 이재명 의원이 경기도지사이자 민주당 대선 경선 후보였던 지난해 8월 2일 자신과 당 관련 인사 3명의 점심 식사 비용을 경기도 업무추진비 카드로 결제했다는 의혹에 대해 경찰 조사를 받고 있다.
당시 이재명 의원측은 "김씨는 수행책임자 A 변호사를 통해 자신의 식사비 2만6000원을 캠프의 정치자금카드로 적법하게 지불했다"면서 "나머지 3인분 식사비인 7만8000원에 대해선 김 씨는 전혀 알지 못했다. 당시 법인카드 사용 의혹을 제보한 B씨는 현장에서 보지도 못했다"고 해명한 바 있다.
