[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 총 31개 종목에 출전하는 제61회 경상남도민체육대회 창원특례시 출전 선수단 결단식이 24일 창원인터내셔널호텔에서 열렸다.
결단식에는 홍남표 창원특례시장과 김이근 창원특례시의회 의장, 이상락 창원교육지원청 교육장, 김종년 창원시체육회장, 창원특례시의회 문화환경도시위원 및 선수단 등 130여 명이 참석했다.

제61회 경상남도민체육대회는 오는 26일부터 29일까지 나흘간 양산시에서 열린다.
창원특례시는 총 851명의 선수단이 31개 종목에 참가할 예정이며, 매년 최고의 성적으로 대회 대미를 장식해 왔듯이 이번 대회에서도 막강한 우승 후보로 손꼽히는 상황이다.
홍남표 시장은 “선수단 모두 실력을 충분히 발휘해 눈부신 성과를 선사하길 기대한다”며 “이번 대회에서 시 선수단의 저력을 다시 한번 입증해 주길 바란다”고 말했다.
