충남교육청은 25일 아산교육지원청(교육장 이경범) 주관으로 충청남도교육청과학교육원 대강당에서 『아산 AI교육 특화도시』 선포식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
이 자리에는 김지철 교육감, 박경귀 아산시장, 홍성현 충청남도의회 부의장, 편삼범 충청남도의회 교육위원회 위원장을 비롯한 도의원과 이경범 아산교육장, 김희영 아산시의회 의장, 아산지역 교육기관 관계자, 교사, 학생 등 300여 명이 참석했다.
이번 선포를 통해 충남교육청은 4차 산업혁명시대 첨단기술을 활용한 미래교육 추진과 사회 변화에 필요한 미래역량 신장 지원을 위한 교육체제 구축 의지를 대내.외에 표명했다.
이로써 아산시는 충남 AI교육 중장기 종합계획의 핵심을 구현하는 도시의 역할을 담당하게 되며, 지역 내 교육기관과 지자체, 기업, 대학, 마을교육공동체와의 활발한 교류와 협력을 통해 학생들에게 지역의 특색을 살린 체계적인 AI교육 프로그램을 제공하게 된다.
