경남시장군수협의회 제86차 정기회의 개최

경상남도시장군수협의회(회장 홍태용 김해시장)는 30일 거창군 항노화힐링랜드에서 도내 시장?군수 14명이 참석한 가운데 제86차 정기회의를 개최했다.

이날 회의는 민선8기 1·2차년도 제21대 회장단 구성을 비롯해 대한민국시장군수구청장협의회 및 경남시장군수협의회 운영사항 보고, 건의사항 및 협조사항 심의, 행사?축제 홍보 및 공지사항 안내 순으로 진행됐다.

경남 시·군이 당면한 현안사항과 개선 요구사항 등 회의에서 가결된 창원에서 건의한 원자력산업 육성을 위한 에너지산업 융복합단지 추가지정 등 4건의 안건과 1건의 협조사항은 경남도와 중앙부처에 전달될 예정이다.

회의 종료 후 참석자들은 국내 처음으로 설치돼 인기를 끌고 있는 거창항노화힐링랜드 Y자형 출렁다리를 둘러보는 현장 견학 시간을 가졌다.

홍태용 김해시장은 개회사에서 “중앙정부에서 지방시대위원회를 9월 중 출범할 예정으로 균형발전과 지방분권을 통합한 지원수단의 역할을 기대한다“며 “경남시장군수협의회도 지방균형발전과 지방소멸 위기에 공동 대응할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
