충남도가 내년 정부예산 8조 6553억 원을 우선 확보했다고 밝혔다.
충남도는 정부의 긴축재정에도 올해 최종 확보 국비보다 3000억 원 가까이 더 거두는 성과를 올렸으나 도민 기대치에는 못 미친다고 보고, 증액 반영을 위해 국회 심의에 총력 대응할 방침이다.
전형식 도 정무부지사는 30일 도청 프레스센터에서 기자회견을 열고 “내달 2일 국회에 제출되는 2023년 정부예산안에 충남 현안 사업 관련 국비 8조 6553억 원을 확보했다”고 밝혔다.
이번 확보액은 2022년 정부예산안 8조 3127억 원보다 3426억 원(4.1%) 많고, 국회에서 최종 확정한 8조 3739억 원에 비해서는 2814억 원(3.4%) 많은 규모다.
도는 그동안 새정부 국정과제 및 지역공약 관련 사업을 발굴하는 동시에, 충남의 미래 발전 기반을 다질 수 있는 주요 현안 사업을 중심으로 국비 확보 활동을 펴왔다.
주요 신규 반영 사업 및 확보 예산은 △충남 산업단지 대개조 110억 원 △탄소포집기술 실증센터 구축 10억 원 △충청권 이차전지 기술 실증 및 평가지원 플랫폼 구축 26억 원 등이 있다.
충남 산단 대개조는 지역경제의 중추적인 역할을 담당하고 있는 산단이 노후화로 가동률 저하와 기업 경쟁력 약화 등의 문제점을 일으키고 있다는 판단에 따라 추진 중이다.
이 사업은 천안 제3산단을 거점으로 아산 테크노밸리, 천안?아산 강소연구개발특구, 인주산단 등을 연계해 탄소중립 기반 융협형 미래차 소부장 글로벌 허브를 구축한다는 계획이다.
