(재)고양국제꽃박람회(이사장 이동환)는 ‘제9회 2022고양가을꽃축제’가 일산호수공원 일원에서 10월 1일부터 10월 10일까지 10일간 개최된다고 밝혔다.
올해 가을꽃축제는 2019년 이후 3년 만에 개최되는 행사이다. 예년과는 다르게 일산호수공원 전체를 입체적으로 활용하여 시민 모두가 참여할 수 있는 가을 화훼·정원 전시와 체험이 결합된 다채로운 시민 친화 축제로 개최될 예정이다.
이번 축제의 큰 차별점은 시민과 지역화훼농가가 함께 참여하는 로컬 축제로 지역축제와 연계하고 고양시 예술인과의 협업으로 고양시 통합 축제의 장 구현한다는 점과 기업과의 협업과 후원사 연계로 경제력 및 시너지를 창출하여 더욱 풍성하고 가치있는 축제로 진행된다는 점이다.
행사의 주제는 ‘가을꽃여정’이다. 깊어 가는 가을, 가을꽃여정을 통해 우리에게 익숙했던 일산호수공원의 아름다움을 새롭게 발견하고, 또 다른 ‘나’를 만나는 여정을 표현한다. 축제의 테마 식물은 꽃의 도시 고양시에서 다수 재배되며 우리나라 대표 화훼 수출 상품인 ‘비모란 선인장’이다. 재단은 시민과의 친근성을 높이고, 고양시 화훼산업의 우수성을 홍보할 수 있도록 축제의 마스코트 격 식물로 비모란 선인장을 선정하여 행사장 곳곳에서 관련 연출을 선보인다.

2022고양가을꽃축제의 다양한 세부 프로그램 중 대표적인 프로그램 몇 가지를 소개한다.
가을주제정원과 다양한 야외 전시 연출 공간
주요 전시 중 하나인‘가을 주제 정원’은 몸소 가을을 느끼고 즐길 수 있는 다양한 활동을 콘셉트로 조성되는 정원이다. 각 정원은 정원별 특징과 콘셉트에 맞게 가을 소재 및 꽃을 활용한 아트 조형물로 연출된다.

일산호수공원에서 만날 수 있는‘선인장 미술관’과 ‘가을꽃영화관’
일산호수공원에는 대한민국 최대 규모의 선인장과 다육식물이 있는 고양 선인장 전시관이 있다. 이번 행사에서 전시관은 다양한 예술작품을 접목한 식물과 예술의 복합 전시관 ‘선인장 미술관’으로 재탄생할 예정이다.
또한 야외 측면 공간에서는 잔디, 빈백, 영화, 화훼의 조합으로 감성 문화 체험 공간인 ‘가을꽃영화관’이 만들어진다. 이곳에서는 가을 여행 콘셉트에 맞는 영화가 상영될 예정이다.
줍깅 이벤트
줍깅 또는 플로깅이라고 불리는 이번 이벤트는 줍기(Plokka Upp)와 조깅(Jogging)의 합성어로 걷거나 뛰며 쓰레기를 줍는 환경 친화 행사이다.
행사 기간 매일 1회 운영될 예정이며 온라인 신청을 통해 참여할 수 있다.
가을꽃축제를 관람하며 일산호수공원의 쓰레기를 주워 참여 인증을 하면 친환경 제품 키트 등 참가 인증 물품을 제공할 예정이다.
