[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군 농촌지도자연합회는 30일 함안공설운동장 내 마사구장에서 임원 50여명이 참석한 가운데 농업·농촌분야 탄소 중립 결의대회 및 농약 빈병, 봉지 수거 행사를 개최했다.

이날 행사는 농업부분 온실가스 감축을 위한 자발적인 실천운동 분위기를 조성하며 관내 농업인 단체 및 군민들의 참여를 유도해 탄소중립의 공감대를 확산하는 계기가 됐다.

또한, 함안군농촌지도자 연합회는 생활속의 탄소저감 실천운동에 적극적으로 앞장서자는 회원들의 뜻을 하나로 모아 연말까지 각 읍·면별로 정기적 행사를 펼치기로 했다.

조근제 함안군수는 “한국농촌지도자 함안군연합회가 평소 과학영농 실천과 농업인의 권익보호에 앞장서 왔다”며 “이번 결의대회를 통해 기후변화에 선제적 대응으로 나가는 모법적인 단체가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
