파주시는 청년과 함께 만드는 청년정책 수립을 위해 8월 22일부터 31일까지 ‘청년정책투표’를 실시했다.
파주시 청년정책협의체(위원장 이용빈)는 올해 분과별 활동을 통해 발굴한 총 14개 제안 중 ▲길거리 문화존 조성 ▲청년특허사관학교 ▲청년 건강 바우처 도입 등 8개 제안을 선정해 투표 안건으로 상정했다.
투표 방식은 네이버 폼을 활용한 온라인 투표와 청년공간 GP1934, 관내 대학에서 현장 투표를 병행 실시했으며, 청년협의체 위원들이 투표 현장에서 청년정책을 안내하고 투표 참여를 독려했다.

투표에는 총 200여 명의 청년이 참여했으며, 청년들은 정책의 공공성, 필요성 및 시급성 등을 고려해 분과별로 선호하는 청년정책 1개에 투표하고 정책에 대한 기타 의견도 직접 제시했다.
파주시는 투표 결과를 분석한 후 협의체와 함께 최종 제안정책을 선정해 9월 정책제안회를 가질 예정이며, 소관부서와 협의해 2023년 사업계획에 청년들의 의견을 반영할 예정이다.
김지숙 청년정책담당관은 “청년정책담당관이 올해 신설돼 처음으로 실시한 청년정책 투표에 참여해준 청년들에게 감사드린다”며, “제출된 의견을 꼼꼼히 챙겨 청년들의 목소리를 경청하고 답하는 파주시가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.[파주=박정호기자]
