제5대 창원시정연구원장 김영표 원장 취임

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 제5대 창원시정연구원장에 김영표 전경남연구원 부원장이 1일 취임했다.

김 원장은 경남대학교에서 대학원에서 경제학 박사학위를 취득했으며, 지역에서 근 30년 이상 지역 경제 정책을 수립하고 평가 해온 전문 연구원 출신이다.

김 원장은 지난 1995년부터 약 20년간 경남연구원에서 선임연구위원과 부원장으로 재직했으며, 최근에는 경남신문사 부설연구원 부원장을 역임했다.

경남연구원과 경남신문사 부설연구원에 재직 시에는 70여 편에 이르는 논문과 연구보고서를 발행해 지역 경제 정책 수립과 발전에 기틀을 마련했으며, 지역의 오피니언 리더로서의 역할을 다해왔다.

또한 지역신문에 칼럼리스트로 오랫동안 참여해 지역현안문제의 원인과 대안을 제시 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 경남대를 비롯한 창신대, 창원대, 동아대, 연세대 등 강단에서 오랫동안 학생들을 가르치는 등 인재 양성에도 기여 해 왔다.
