[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 우리나라를 대표하는 건강 힐링 축제인 제17회 함양산삼축제가 2일 함양군 천년의 숲 상림공원 일원에서 막을 올렸다.
‘Hi-산삼! 당신의 젊음을 응원합니다.’를 주제로 이날 개막한 함양산삼축제는 10일간 관광객들에게 힐링과 건강, 그리고 가을의 아름다운 추억을 선물하게 된다.
2일 오전 산삼축제의 성공을 기원하는 고유제를 시작으로 이날 오후 7시부터 진행된 개막식에는 진병영 함양군수를 비롯하여 김성기 축제위원장, 지역 기관단체장, 군민, 관광객 등 2,000여명이 함께하며 함양산삼축제의 시작을 축하했다.
이번 개막식에서는 ‘신명과 건강의 땅 함양 ‘천지울림’’이라는 주제공연이 열려 1악장 ‘함양의 산과들, 계곡의 탄생’, 2악장 ‘백두대간 산림에서 살아온 심마니들의 삶과 애환’, 3악장 ‘축제의 화합 대동마당’ 등 타악, 무용, 산신제, 풍물패, 강강수월래의 화려한 공연이 축제 개막을 알렸다.
이어진 식후공연에서는 박군, 류지광, 강예슬 등 인기가수들이 대거 출연해 축하공연으로 축제 분위기를 고조시켰다.
진병영 함양군수는 “이번 함양산삼축제는 먹거리, 볼거리, 즐길거리가 가득한 잊지못할 축제가 될 것”이라며 “건강과 힐링의 기운을 듬뿍 받아 갈 수 있도록 철저한 준비와 프로그램을 마련했으니 마음껏 즐기시길 바란다”고 말했다.
이날 개막식과 함께 오는 11일까지 10일간 열리는 ‘제17회 함양산삼축제’는 불로산삼관, 함양농특산물관, 소풍놀이터, 저잣거리, 산삼 숲, 체험부스, 장생먹거리관, 야간경관존, 포스트엑스포 등 9개의 존으로 나눠 힐링의 기운을 가득 담으며 즐거운 추억을 남길 수 있도록 꾸며졌다.

특히 천년 숲 상림공원 내 개화를 준비중인 꽃무릇이 조만간 화려한 자태를 뽐낼 것으로 보이며, 상림경관단지와 천년의 숲 등 멋지게 조성된 꽃밭 등도 방문객들의 발길을 붙들 것으로 보인다.
메인 행사장인 초가부스로 구성된 저잣거리에서는 먹거리에서부터 체험거리, 볼거리까지 다양한게 준비되고, 축제장 곳곳에는 가족들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 체험거리도 많이 마련되어 관광객들에게 즐거움을 선물한다.
