김해시 해반천 시민 여가공간 조성사업 추진

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김해시 대표 도심하천인 해반천에 다목적운동장과 공연장 등을 갖춘 시민 여가공간이 조성된다.

시에 따르면 해반천 여가공간 조성사업은 총사업비 80억원을 들여 해반천 전체 11.5km 구간 중 연지교에서 경원교 사이 500m 구간에 다목적운동장, 공연장, 친수벽화, 놀이터, 경관조명, 보도교 등을 설치하는 사업으로 내년 1월 시작돼 2024년 5월 준공 예정이다.

사업은 상대적으로 둔치 폭이 넓은 김해문화의 전당 쪽 둔치에서 이뤄지며 시는 해반천을 사이에 두고 있는 맞은 편 가야의 거리와의 접근성 향상을 위해 2개의 보도교를 설치한다.

시는 사업이 완료되면 역사와 문화, 여기에 수변 여가공간이 어우러진 새로운 휴식공간이 만들어져 시민 삶의 질 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
