창원예술교육사 파견사업 추진...예술적 경험 확산

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 9월부터 11월까지 2022예비문화도시 연계사업인 창원예술교육사 파견사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

시는 지난 7월 역량강화 교육, 계획안 컨설팅 및 발표 심사를 통해 19명의 파견 예술교육사를 선정했으며 평생학습센터, 청소년시설, 지역아동센터 등 생활권 문화기반 시설 14개소에 파견한다.

시는 문화도시 기반구축 및 문화예술교육 활성화를 위해 2019년부터 창원예술교육사 양성 및 파견사업 추진 문화예술교육 주체의 성장지원사업 문화예술교육 콘텐츠 연구개발지원 등의 사업을 추진하고 있다.

이번 사업에는 미술, 음악, 무용, 새활용, 공예, 원예치료 등 다양한 분야의 예술인 및 예술강사가 참여해 문화자산을 활용한 15개의 문화예술 프로그램을 운영한다.

구진호 문화체육관광국장은 “지역의 문화자원을 활용해 창원의 특성을 담은 문화예술교육이 더욱 활기를 띌 것으로 기대된다”며 “교육을 통한 예술적 경험으로 지역사회의 문화를 형성하고 문화예술교육을 접할 수 있는 기회를 확대해 시민의 삶의 질을 높이겠다”고 말했다.

한편 시는 문화체육관광부가 주관하는 '꿈꾸는 예술터' 조성 사업에 작년 연말 선정되어 창원종합버스터미널 공영주차장 1층에 문화예술교육 전용시설을 조성한다.
