브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 유승민 국민의힘 전 의원은 7일 당 윤리위원회가 이준석 전 대표에게 당원권 정지 1년 추가 징계를 내린데 대해 "이 XX들, X팔린다는 막말을 한 윤석열 당원은 왜 징계하지 않나"라고 강하게 비판했다.
유승민 전 의원은 이날 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "당대표직을 박탈당한 사람이 권리 회복을 위해 법원 판단을 구하는 자유와 권리가 핵심 징계사유라니, 지나가는 개가 웃을 일"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 '모든 국민은 재판을 받을 권리를 가진다'는 헌법 제27조 1항을 언급하며 "이는 헌법을 정면으로 부정한 위헌적 발상"이라고 비판했다.
그는 특히 윤석열 대통령의 비속어 논란을 언급하며 "국민의 70%가 '사과해야 한다'고 한다. 국민의 신뢰를 잃어버리고 당에 막심한 피해를 준 대통령 당원의 잘못에 대한 윤리위 입장은 무엇인가"라고 윤리위 결정을 정면으로 지적했다.
그러면서 "권력의 하청을 받아 정적을 제거하는 데 동원된 것인가. 이양희 윤리위원장과 윤리위원들은 스스로 권력의 눈치를 보지 않았고 떳떳하다고 자부한다면 지금이라도 총선 불출마를 서약하기를 거듭 요구한다"고 덧붙였다.
한편 지난 6일 이양희 윤리위원장은 이 전 대표 추가 징계 이유에 대해 "당론 결정에 반하여 당헌 개정과 새 비상대책위원회 구성을 저지하기 위한 가처분 신청이 핵심"이라고 밝혔다.
