충남 태안군 안흥항이 ‘2022년 클린(CLEAN) 국가어항 시범사업’ 대상지로 선정됐다.
충남도는 1일 태안군 안흥항에 내년부터 2025년까지 3년간 국비 146억 투입해 어업 환경 개선, 경관 정비 및 편의시설 설치 등 공간 재정비 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
클린 국가어항 사업은 어항 환경 정비와 기존 시설 정비 및 노후시설 개선을 통해 어항을 쾌적하고 편리한 공간으로 정비하는 사업이며, 전액 국비로 추진된다.
해수부는 전국 115개 국가어항을 대상으로 지난 6월 공모계획을 수립하고 9월 광역시·도가 추천한 21개 국가어항에 대해 지난달 서면 및 발표 평가를 거쳐 △태안 안흥항 △부안 격포항 △양양 남애항 △고흥 녹동항 △거제 다대다포항 등 총 5곳을 최종 선정했다.
클린 국가어항으로 선정된 안흥항은 근흥면 신진도리와 정죽리 일대에, 2025년까지 환경 개선 및 공간 조성 등 13개 세부 사업을 진행된다.
환경 개선 사업은 △외항 바다쉼터 조성 △도로 포장 및 경관 정비 △어구건조장·야적장 정비 △쓰레기집하장 정비 △안전 조명 설치 △내항 화장실 정비 △내항 경관 정비 등이다.
공간 조성 사업은 △여객터미널 새단장(리모델링) △공원 정비 △연안 보행길 조성 △친수공원 조성 △방파제 및 등대 경관 정비 △매립지 공원 조성 등이다.
아울러 안흥내항과 안흥외항을 연결하는 5가지 순환형 자연친화길인 사람길·하늘길·해안길·수풀길·연안길을 조성하고 △정죽-두야 도로 건설 △안흥진성 종합 정비 △신진도 관문 조형물 설치 △태안 해안 케이블카 설치 △사신들의 바다순례길 조성 △마도 급경사지 정비 등의 사업을 연계 추진해 종합적인 발전을 꾀할 방침이다.
