[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] ‘대왕배’로 눈길을 끈 산청군 단성면 이판희(산청배작목회 회장)씨 농가의 배가 현대백화점에 전량 납품된다.
9일 산청군에 따르면 이판희씨의 대왕배는 만수종으로 신고배의 3~4배 크기에 달한다.
신고배는 1개 당 평균 600~700g인 반면 이번에 열린 이 배는 평균 2200g으로 최고 2500g(2.5㎏)까지 나간다.
이 대왕배는 신문, 방송 등 언론의 관심을 받으며 화제가 되기도 했다.
이같은 관심에 힘입어 대왕배는 현대백화점에 전량 납품된다.
납품수량은 15㎏/Box 기준 100박스 정도로 가격은 20만원 이상 받을 것으로 기대된다.
산청군 관계자는 “현대백화점 전량 납품으로 산청배를 전국 각지에 알릴 수 있는 계기가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 좋은 배를 재배해 지리산 청정골 산청군 이미지를 높여 나가겠다”고 말했다.
