국가철도공단 충청본부가 11일 대전역 인근에서 철도 안전 강화와 청렴문화 확산을 홍보하고 역 주변 환경정화를 위한 플로깅(Plogging) 활동을 전개했다.
이날 충청본부 직원들은 대전역 주변 1km 정도를 빠르게 걸으며 쓰레기를 줍는 플로깅(Plogging) 활동과 함께 시민들에게 청렴 마스크와 철도안전 팜플렛을 배부하며 안전과 청렴의 가치도 함께 공유했다.
김용두 충청본부장은 “플로깅 활동으로 대전역 주변 환경을 정비하고, 안전과 청렴에 대한 공단의 의지도 함께 전파할 수 있는 뜻깊은 행사였다”며, “앞으로도 안전사고 예방과 청렴, 환경보호에 앞장서 국민 신뢰를 다져나가겠다”고 말했다.
