[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] ‘명품 산청곶감’의 우수한 기술력을 배우기 위해 타지키스탄 감 생산농가가 산청을 찾았다.
지난 14일 타지키스탄 감 생산농가와 업체 관계자들이 단성면 산청곶감 생산 농가를 방문했다.
이번 방문은 산청곶감의 우수한 곶감 제조기술을 배워 타지키스탄 현지에 적용하기 위해 마련됐다.
타지키스탄 농가 및 업체 관계자 7명과 주한타지키스탄상공회의소회장 등 3명은 100여 동에서 곶감을 생산하고 있는 단성면 백한흠 농가를 찾았다.
이들은 감 재배 기술과, 감 수확 후 저장 방법, 곶감 가공 및 건조 시설 등 곶감을 생산하는 전 과정을 견학했다.

이어 재래식 방법으로 소규모 곶감을 생산하는 농가도 찾아 현지 타지키스탄 재배 실정과 비교 견학도 실시했다.
특히 타지키스탄 관계자들은 명품 산청곶감을 생산할 수 있는 원료감 재배 기술과 감 수확부터 곶감 생산까지 체계적이고 안정적으로 생산할 수 있는 기반시설에 대해 큰 관심을 보였다.
산청군 관계자는 “이번 견학을 통해 타지키스탄 관계자들이 곶감 제고 기술과 역량을 배울 수 있는 기회가 됐다”며 “이번 만남을 계기로 타지키스탄과 업무 협약을 통해 타지키스탄 근로자들이 산청군에서 일할 수 있는 방안도 모색해 나갈 예정이다”고 말했다.
