브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대표는 6일 "민생과 민주주의를 지키며 흔들림 없이 걷겠습니다"라는 제목의 짧은 글을 올려 '취임 100일' 기념 메시지를 전했다.
이재명 대표는 이날 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "가장 민주당다운 길, 가장 이재명다운 길을 걷겠다"고 밝혔다.
이 대표는 "지난 100일은 국민과 당원의 간절한 열망을 받들고 변화와 희망을 씨앗을 하나하나 뿌려가는 과정이었다"면서 "당원 및 지지자 여러분의 변함없는 성원과 충고 덕분에 가능했던 일"이라고 공(功)을 지지자에게 돌렸다.
이어 "앞으로도 민주당은 실용적 민생 개혁, 더 굳건한 민주주의를 향해 거침없이 나아가겠다"고 강조했다.
이 대표는 또 "민생과 민주주의에 도움이 된다면 앞으로도 국민이 준 권한을 최대한 적극적으로 행사하겠다"며 169석을 가진 거대야당으로서 책무를 다하겠다고 다짐했다.
한편 이재명 대표는 취임100일이던 지난 5일에는 기자간담회 등 별도의 자리를 갖지 않았다. 민주당측은 이 대표를 둘러싼 '사법리스크'를 의식해 간담회를 갖지 않는 것이냐는 기자들의 질문엔 "그렇지 않다"고 선을 그었다.
