함안군, 장애인복지사업 ‘우수지자체’ 선정

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군이 보건복지부 주관 2022년 장애인복지사업 평가에서 우수지자체로 선정돼 보건복지부 장관상을 수상했다.

이번 평가는 보건복지부에서 지자체의 장애인복지 수준 제고와 우수한 장애인복지 사례 등을 발굴하기 위한 것으로 229개 시·군·구를 대상으로 시도별 추천과 장애단체, 학계 등으로 구성된 위원회의 종합평가를 통해 최종 12개 우수지자체를 선정했다.

평가지표는 장애인 자립지원, 장애인 서비스 지원, 장애인 복지 전달체계, 장애인정책 추진 등 정량과 정성평가 14개 항목으로 진행됐다.

함안군은 발달장애인 주간·방과후 활동 제공기관 추가 지정과 예산확보 장애인 휠체어 수리비지원 조례 제정 장애인 교통 편의증진 시스템 개선 코로나19 장애인 확진자 민간협력 지원 ICT연계 인공지능 통합돌봄사업 등에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

조근제 군수는 “장애로 인한 차별이 없도록 장애인 단체와 손을 맞잡고 노력한 결과”며 “함안군 장애인의 복지수준 향상을 위해 한층 더 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
