의령군 지정면, ‘청년회 발대식’

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군 지정면의 젊은 청년들이 뭉쳐 주민화합과 지역 발전을 위해 ‘지정면청년회’를 조직했다. 지정면에는 청년회가 없어 청년들이 단합된 활동을 기대할 수 없었는데 뜻있는 청년들이 모여 준비를 마치고 청년회를 탄생시켰다.

지정면 청년회는 지난 22일 지정면 복지회관 2층에서 의령군수·군의원·사회단체장 등 60여 명이 참석한 가운데 청년회 발대식을 개최했다.

이날 참석한 회원들은 도움의 손길이 필요한 곳에 늘 앞장서 봉사하는 청년회가 될 것을 다짐했다. 청년회 회원은 총 64명으로 구성됐으며, 제1대 회장으로 김태호 회장이 취임했다.

김태호 청년회장은“신임 청년회장으로서 사명감과 긍지를 갖고 청년들의 열정을 담아 지역민과 소통하는 자세로 지역사회에 적극 봉사하겠다”는 당찬 포부를 밝혔다.

발대식에 참석한 오태완 의령군수도 청년회원들을 격려하며 힘차게 내딛는 청년회의 새로운 출발을 응원했다.

오태환 의령군수는 “여기 모인 청년 여러분들이 의령의 미래 발전을 위한 원동력이 되어 지역에 새로운 활력을 불어넣어 주기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
