세종시의회가 연말연시를 맞아 세종사회복지공동모금회에 성금을 기탁했다.
상병헌 세종시의회 의장은 26일 의장 집무실에서 ‘희망 2023 나눔 캠페인’ 성금 전달식을 열고 세종사회복지공동모금회에 성금을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이날 상 의장은 전달식을 통해 세종사회복지공동모금회 박상혁 회장에게 성금과 함께 혹한의 겨울나기에 어려움을 겪고 있는 사회 취약계층을 위한 나눔 운동에 적극 동참하겠다는 의지를 피력했다.
상병헌 의장은 “나눔은 그 속에 담긴 따뜻한 마음을 확산시키고 그 마음을 전달받은 어려운 이웃들의 마음을 어루만져 줄 수 있는 강력한 힘을 갖고 있다”며 “의회 차원에서도 그 어느 때보다 힘겨운 겨울을 겪고 있을 이웃들을 적극 도울 수 있도록 힘을 모으겠다”고 말했다.
