계묘년(癸卯年) 새해가 밝았습니다.
구민 모두가 희망과 기쁨을 만들어가는 행복한 2023년이 되기를 소망합니다.
올해는 민선8기가 실질적으로 시작되는 원년이자 대덕연구개발특구 출범 50주년을 맞는 해로 35만 구민 모두의 뜨거운 열망을 담아 ‘다함께 더 좋은 유성’을 위해 새롭게 도약하고 더 좋은 미래로 비상(飛上)하는 매우 뜻깊은 해입니다.
아울러 새해에는 3년여의 오랜 기다림 끝에 일상의 답답함을 벗어날 실내 마스크 착용 의무 완화로 우리의 일상에 많은 변화와 회복이 기대되는 해이기도 합니다.
지난 한해를 돌아보면 세계적인 경제 불황과 계속된 코로나 위기 속에서 함께 협력하고 노력하면 어떤 역경과 어려움도 슬기롭게 극복해 나갈수 있다는 확신과 경험을 얻게 된 소중한 시간들이었습니다.

지역의 미래인 청년들의 삶 전반에 대한 지원강화를 통해 청년들이 꿈꾸며 도전하고 싶은 도시를 만들겠습니다.
궁동 스타트업파크 중심의 청년지원센터 설립, 스타트업 파크.기업 등과 연계한 청년 일자리 창출, 청년주택공급 등 제로백(고민 ZERO, 만족도 100%) 청년 프로젝트 추진으로 활력 넘치는 청년문화를 조성하겠습니다.
