[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군이 2023년 벼 육묘관련 종합지원을 위한 사업 신청을 오는 2월 5일까지 받는다.
벼 육묘용 자재 지원사업은 기후변화 등 벼농사의 여건변화와 새로운 농법도입을 통한 안정적인 쌀 생산체계 구축으로 농가 소득안정화와 쌀 산업의 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해 추진하는 사업이다.
지난해보다 3억 1000만 원이 증액된 14억 8000만 원의 사업비를 확보해 총 4개 사업으로 관내에 주소지를 둔 벼 재배 전 농가를 대상으로 신청을 받을 예정이다.
이번 사업은 농촌의 노동력 부족해소와 벼 육묘용 자재확보에 대한 농업인들의 애로사항을 해소하기 위해 지원하는 사업으로 벼 보급종 차액지원은 20kg포당 지난해 3000원에서 금년은 6000원으로 지원비를 확대했으며, 벼 정식초기 병해충 사전예방을 위한 육묘상자 처리제는 4700ha, 벼 전 농가에 올해 4월 공급할 예정이다.
특히, 금년부터는 처음으로 2ha미만의 중·소농가의 육묘에 대한 어려움을 해결하기 위해 벼 육묘 위탁농가에 지원하는 육묘비를 4억7000만 원을 확보해 최대 2ha까지 육묘비용의 30%를 지원하고, 벼 자가육묘 농가에는 육묘용 자재(매트, 상토)를 최대면적 30ha까지 지원할 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “금년은 농자재 수급이 어려울 것으로 전망됨에 따라 조기 사업 추진을 통해 영농 적기에 자재공급이 될 수 있도록 가급적 빠른 시일내 농가별 해당 읍면 주소지에 신청 접수를 해줄 것을 바란다"며, “금년에도 풍년농사로 이어질 수 있도록 다양한 지원방안을 강구하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
