[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군에 주민 소통을 위한 거점 공간이 조성됐다.
군은 17일 군민들의 생각 나눔터인 ‘소통활성화센터’를 개소하고 소생활권 활성화 정책개발을 위한 주민 소통 업무를 시작했다.
소통 활성화센터는 주민들의 이용률이 높은 서동생활공원 내 유휴공간을 활용하여 ‘소통’이라는 주제로 지역의 새로운 활력과 지역민의 즐거운 참여라는 목표 달성을 위해 조성됐다.
이번 소통 활성화센터 개소는 지난해 9월 행정안전부 다부처정책 연계 시너지창출 공간 조성 공모사업에 선정돼 추진됐다,
군은 소통 활성화센터 운영을 위해 소생활권 활성화 프로젝트팀 인력 2명을 고정 배치하여 주민들을 맞이할 준비를 마친 상태이다. 이들은 소생활권 활성화를 위한 주민 의제발굴, 주민자치 강화, 공동체 형성에 따른 주민참여형 공모사업 추진 업무에 적극적으로 나설 계획이다.
군은 소통 활성화센터의 입지적 장점을 이용해 서동생활공원 주변 미래교육원, 청소년문화의집 등과 함께 특색있고 활용도 높은 주민 소통 거점 공간으로 삼을 계획이다,
또 효율적인 업무 연계를 위해 의령군 농촌활성화 지원센터와 협업으로 주민 삶의 질을 향상할 수 있는 국·도비 공모사업을 발굴하여 지역 현안 문제 해결에도 나설 예정이다.
