책사랑신문(발행인/김동성)은 3월20일자 보도자료에서 “책사랑신문이 주최한 『2023 대한민국 독서문화 대상(大賞)』 시상식이 지난 3월 15일 오후 프레스센터 18층 외신기자클럽에서 열렸다. 한국전문언론인협회가 주관하고 월간 『리더피플』과 성공사관학교가 후원한 이번 시상식에선 15개 부문에서 27명이 수상했다”고 전했다.
김동성 『책사랑신문』 발행인은 시상식의 인사말에서 “1년에 한 권의 책도 읽지 않는 국민이 10명 중 3명이나 되는 우리 현실이 안타깝다”고 말하고 “대한민국 독서지수를 높이고 범국민적인 독서운동 분위기 조성을 위해 이 시상식을 마련했다”고 설명했다. 심사위원장을 맡은 임덕규 『디플로머시』 회장은 “책을 사랑하는 문화인이 참 아름다운 것”이라면서 “오늘 수상하신 모든 분들이 독서운동의 길잡이가 돼주시기 바란다”고 강조했다. 아래는 수상자 명단이다.
