[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 자살에 대한 잘못된 인식을 바로잡고 올바른 생명존중문화를 조성하기 위해 ‘청소년 자살예방 교육’에 참여할 학교를 오는 27일까지 모집한다고 20일 밝혔다.
우리나라 인구 10만 명당 자살률은 23.6명(2021년 기준)으로, 통계청 발표 2021년 청소년 사망원인 중 1위가 자살인 점을 고려하면 이번 교육은 정서적으로 불안정한 청소년기의 중·고등학생을 대상으로 ‘하나밖에 없는 소중한 생명’을 건강하게 지킬 수 있도록 알려주는 데 의의가 있다.
이번 교육은 생명지킴이 역할을 수행할 수 있는 역량을 함양하기 위해 △자살사고에 영향을 미치는 요인 △자살의 경고 신호 △도움을 주기 위한 구체적인 방법 △도움을 요청할 수 있는 전문기관 소개 등으로 구성했다.
또한, 온라인 설문조사를 활용한 생명사랑 퀴즈 참여 이벤트도 실시해 참여자 중 추첨을 통해 200명에게 소정의 상품을 증정할 예정이다.
