[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] (사)한국후계농업경영인거창군연합회(이하 한농연)는 18일 주상면 희랑체육공원에서 구인모 군수, 이홍희 군의회 의장을 비롯한 군의원, 한농연 회원, 기관단체장 등 500여 명이 참석한 가운데 제33회 한농연 회원가족체육대회를 개최했다.

이날 행사에서는 평소 지역농업발전을 위해 헌신한 우수회원 양주은, 김영래씨에게 군수 표창패를 수여하고 한농연 중앙회장상 등 각 부문별 29명에 대해 시상했으며, 이어 회원들 간 정보를 교류하고 화합하는 체육대회 및 단합행사를 개최했다.

또한, 한농연은 이번 체육대회를 통해 거창군장학회에 장학금 100만 원을 기탁하며 거창군 인재 육성에도 동참했다.

이종희 회장은 대회사에서 “코로나19와 원자재 가격 상승으로 농업·농촌에 수많은 어려움이 있었지만, 지금까지 해왔던 것처럼 한농연 회원들이 앞으로도 지혜롭게 위기를 극복하는 선도농업인이 되어주길 바란다”고 말했다.
