[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 제39회 산청황매산철쭉제가 산청군 차황면 법평리 황매산 일원에서 오는 29일부터 5월 14일까지 상춘객들의 발길을 사로잡는다.
코로나19 영향 등으로 4년 만에 개최하는 올해 철쭉제는 ‘다시, 철쭉에 반하고 산청에 반하다’라는 주제로 열린다.
철쭉제는 철쭉 풍년 제례를 비롯해 다채로운 체험행사, 농·특산품 판매장터, 향토음식점 등을 운영한다.
특히 철쭉에 반하다 존 운영과 황매산 어린이 스탬프 이벤트, 추억의 보물찾기 이벤트 등을 통해 상춘객과 함께하는 축제를 만들 예정이다.
이와 함께 안전한 축제장을 위한 재난 대비 및 안전체계도 구축해 안전하고 즐거운 축제가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
29일 개막을 알리는 ‘철쭉 풍년 제례’로 황매산 철쭉제단에서 진행, 풍년을 기원하고 군민 안녕과 축제 성공 등을 기원한다.
또 철쭉의 꽃말이 ‘사랑의 즐거움’이라는 점에 착안한 프러포즈 포토존을 운영해 화관과 꽃다발을 주고받으며 서로의 사랑을 확인하고 고백할 수 있게 했다.
