[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 밀양시는 제65회 밀양아리랑대축제 기간에 ‘밀양아리랑가요제’를 개최한다.
이번 가요제는 20일 오후 6시 30분 밀양강변 야외공연장에서 시작된다.
신인가수의 꿈을 키워줄 이번 프로그램은 지난 4월 15일과 16일 서울과 창원 KBS홀에서 예선을 진행했다.
예선에서 270팀이라는 많은 참가자들과 열정적인 대결을 펼치고 온 8팀이 이번 본선에서 화려한 경쟁을 펼친다.
본선에서의 대상과 금상 수상자에게는 각각 500만원, 300만원의 시상금과 대한가수협회의 가수인증서가 수여되고 은상, 동상, 인기상도 별도의 시상금이 주어진다.
이들과 함께 라이브의 여왕 에일리, 어른들의 BTS 신유, 전통과 현대의 적절한 조합을 완성하는 서도밴드가 풍성한 무대를 함께 장식할 예정이다.
시 관계자는 “2023 밀양방문의 해에 개최되는 밀양아리랑가요제에서 새로운 가수의 탄생을 지켜보고 유명가수들의 축하공연을 즐기면서 좋은 추억을 만들어 가길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 2002년부터 개최된 밀양아리랑 가요제는 올해로 22회를 맞게 되며 가수 지망생들의 신인 가수 등용문 역할을 해온 전통 있는 가요제다.
