한중도시우호협회는 5월31일자 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 30일 오후 중국 샤먼대학교 대만연구소를 방문해 천셴차이(陳先才) 주임 등 교수들과 한중 관계 및 대만 문제를 주제로 토론회를 열었다”고 알렸다.
권기쉭 회장은 인사말에서 "지난 30여년간 한반도 평화와 한국의 경제 발전에 핵심 동력이 되어온 한중 관계가 더욱 발전할 수 있도록 함께 노력하자"고 말했다. 이어 "한국은 1992년 한중 수교의 원칙인 '하나의 중국'을 흔드는 일을 해서는 않된다"며 "대만문제는 중국의 내정"이라고 강조했다.
