1. 내년 총선에서 투명하고 공정한 공천을 실현하기 위해선 어떤 노력이 수반되어야 할까?
윤석열 대통령과 국민의힘 당 지도부가 적극적으로 개입하되 차기 총선 선거(2024년 4월10일)의 승리를 위한 인재 발굴에는 주저함이 없어야 한다. 현재 윤석열 대통령이 보이고 있는 인사 행태는 전형적인 연고주의(Nepotism)에 입각한 것이다.
물론, 본인의 잣대로 보면 잘알고 함께 일한 경험이 있는 사람들이 신뢰할 수 있어서 좋겠지만, 공천권 행사와 같은 인사는 투표권을 실제로 행사하는 유권자, 즉 시장에 맡기는 게 상책이다. 다시 말하면, 선거시장의 주체인 국민의 눈높이에 맞는 공천을 하면 된다. 국민의 눈높이라는 게 누구나 납득할 수 있는 투명하고 공정한 공천 시스템을 만들고, 나아가서는 뜨거운 가슴과 실천적 역량을 갖추고 진실로 위민하고 위국하는 사람들을 발굴하여 후보로 내세우는 것이다.
