주민참여형 축제 공모사업에 최종 선정돼 만화방초에서 주최·주관하는 이번 행사에서는 경상남도 제8호 민간정원인 만화방초 정원 곳곳을 수놓고 있는 수백 가지 종류의 수국과 편백 나무, 야생화 등을 감상할 수 있다.

또한 축제기간 중 주말에는 풍성한 문화공연이 예정돼있는데, 은파 합창단, 공감밴드, 소가야브라더스 등의 밴드공연과 오카리나 공연, 하모니카 연주 등이 준비돼있다.

특히 축제 개막일인 10일에는 잔디광장에서 대피리, 태평소 연주를 시작으로 테너, 은파 합창단, 통기타 공연 등이 열린다.
