[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 밀양시는 오는 17일 밀양아리랑대공원에서 ‘2023 UN 세계 요가의 날’ 기념행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
UN 세계 요가의 날은 6월 21일로 요가를 널리 알리기 위해 2014년 국제연합이 공식 제정, 선포한 날이다.
매년 전 세계 요가인이 요가 시연과 수련 등을 통해 기념한다.
밀양시도 파트너 및 가족요가 공연, 프로토콜 수련 등을 진행하고 부대행사로 천연 아로마 체험, 요가 자세 따라하기, 나만의 바람개비 만들기 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 가족, 친구, 연인이 함께 즐길 수 있도록 준비했다.
행사 참가신청은 QR코드로 사전 신청하거나, 밀양시 미래전략과로 문의해 참여할 수 있다.
현장 신청도 가능하며 선착순 200명에게는 요가매트를 제공한다.
또한 행사 당일 경품 이벤트로 숙박권·온천권, 갤럭시워치, 마사지볼, 고급 요가매트 등 추첨 행사도 열려 가족과 함께 행사에 참여하면 색다른 경험과 추억이 될 것이다.
박일호 시장은 “대한민국 대표 요가도시 밀양에서 요가 문화와 인도의 아름다운 가르침을 함께 나누시길 바라며 모두에게 힐링과 행복의 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
