15일 동국대 WISE캠퍼스에 따르면 지난 12일 스님은 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 대외협력실을 통하여 본인의 이름과 신분을 밝히지 않은 채 동국대 WISE캠퍼스에 기부를 하고싶다는 의사를 밝혀왔다.

스님은 “대한불교조계종 종립대학 동국대 WISE캠퍼스의 인재양성을 위해 보시하기로 결심했다”며 “수도권 대학에 비하여 여러 가지로 여건이 불리한 지방캠퍼스임에도 불구하고 불교인재 양성을 위해 힘쓰는 동국대 WISE캠퍼스에 작은 도움이라도 되고 싶다”고 말했다.
