동국대 WISE캠퍼스 박준휘 학생, MS Office 세계경진대회 한국대표 선발

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 지난 5월 21일 개최된 2023년 Micro Office Specialist 경진대회(이하 MOS 경진대회)에서 빅데이터응용통계학과 21학년 박준휘 학생이 파워포인트 부문에서 대상을 수상했다고 23일 밝혔다.

이번 수상으로 박준휘 학생은 올해 7월 말 미국 올랜도에서 개최되는 MOS 세계경진대회 한국대표로 선발됐으며 대회 참가를 위한 항공료, 숙박비를 포함한 제반 경비를 YBM에서 전액 부담한다.

이번 대회에서 파워포인트 부문 대상을 수상한 박준휘 학생은 “취업준비를 위해 관련 자격증 취득을 알아보던 중 평소에 주로 사용하던 파워포인트 부문에 지원을 하게 되었는데 뜻밖에 한국대표로 선정이 되어 너무 기쁘다”며 “7월에 개최되는 세계대회에서 좋은 성적을 거둘 수 있도록 남은 기간 잘 준비하겠다”고 말했다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스 김인홍 교무학생처장은 “앞으로 재학생들의 다양한 직무능력을 강화할 수 있는 좋은 프로그램들을 지속적으로 운영하여 학생들의 취업준비 및 졸업 후 직장생활에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
