[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 창녕군이 양파와 마늘을 활용한 외식문화 메뉴 개발에 나섰다.
군은 6일 농업기술센터 농업인교육관에서 성낙인 군수, 김재한 군의회 의장 등이 참석해 신활력플러스사업의 하나로 추진 중인 외식분야 메뉴 개발 품평회를 개최했다.
이날 품평회는 한국외식업중앙회 창녕군지부에서 창녕군 대표 특산물인 양파, 마늘을 활용해 다양한 메뉴를 개발해 선보였다.
품평회에 선보였던 메뉴는 양파 밥, 양파 마늘 수육, 양파 마늘 흑미 샐러드 등 6종이며, 개발메뉴들은 대체로 긍정적 평가를 받았다.
군은 외식업체별 정체성과 고유성은 지키되 공통 요리법은 활용하여 지역 특화메뉴로 확대해 나가고, 앞으로 다양한 의견을 적극 수렴·보완하여 음식의 만족도와 완성도를 높여간다는 계획이다.
성낙인 군수는 “이번 품평회를 시작으로 한국외식업중앙회 창녕군지부와 함께 개발한 메뉴를 지역 외식업체에 전수하여 창녕만의 밥상을 만들어 나가자”라며, “우리 군이 맛으로 즐기는 여행의 성지가 될 수 있도록 노력해달라”고 말했다.
