이런 가운데 공한지 주차장 등 밀양시의 주차환경개선 사업이 주목받고 있다.
밀양시는 공한지 주차장 사업 추진과 한 방향 주차허용 구간 운영으로 도심 속 주차난의 활로를 찾고 있다.
시민 체감도가 높은 이 정책들은 불법주차 감소, 교통불편 해소, 주차공간 확보, 도시미관 및 주변환경 개선 등으로 시민들로부터 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
