[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군이 '제8회 대한민국 국제 관광박람회‘에서 국제관광어워드 부스운영 부문 우수상을 수상했다고 16일 밝혔다.

의령군은 리치리치페스티벌의 상징색으로 부스를 마련해 ‘부자가 되자’라는 특별한 포토존 운영으로 박람회 내내 큰 관심을 받았다.

이번 박람회는 '2023-2024 한국방문의 해'를 맞아 국내외 최신 관광산업의 다양성과 변화하는 관광 트렌드 공유 및 국내 여행 경쟁력 확대를 위해 마련됐다.

국내 119개 지자체, 해외 7개국, 기업·단체 70곳 등이 참여하며 376개 부스가 전시 운영됐으며 B2B 바이어 상담회, 귀농귀촌 박람회 등 다양한 부대행사가 진행됐다.

의령군은 이번 박람회에서 10월 6일부터 9일까지 개최되는 2023 의령 리치리치 페스티벌과 2023-2024 의령방문의해를 집중 홍보하기 위해 관람객들의 이목을 끌 수 있는 페이크머니 뿌리기 퍼포먼스 및 솥바위에 소원달기 등의 행사를 진행해 관심도를 높였다.

특히 이벤트 경품으로 의령군의 캐릭터 ’곽재우 장군X망개떡 콜라보‘, 리치리치페스티벌의 상징색인 노란색의 바나나 장바구니, 관광표어인 ‘here,UR’ 이 새겨진 케이블 정리품, 의령 9경이 새겨진 포스트잇 등 대대적인 ‘물량공세’로 관광객들을 미소 짓게 했다.
