[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 올해 10회째를 맞이한 ‘의령 우륵 탄신기념 전국가야금경연대회’가 오는 9월 9일부터 10일 양일간 악성 우륵의 탄신지인 의령군 부림면에서 개최된다.
의령군이 주최하고 문화체육관광부가 후원하는 이 대회는 9월 9일 오전 9시 30분 부림면 의령군청소년수련관에서 예선과 단심, 10일 오전 10시 30분부터 본선 경연이 펼쳐진다.
참가 자격은 전국 초·중·고·대학생, 일반인이며 경연 부분은 가야금 기악 및 병창이다, 심사위원은 국내 국악 관련 대학교수와 권위자가 맡는다.
대회의 총상금 규모는 2,930만원이며 시상 인원은 40명이다.
일반부 1위인 우륵 대상은 문화체육관광부장관상과 함께 상금 5백만원이 수여된다.
고등·대학·일반부 대상 수상자는 9월 15~17일 3일간 개최하는 ‘2023 의령 신번문화축제’에서 공연의 기회를 얻게 된다.
