[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 창녕군은 오는 9일 오후 7시 30분, 창녕공설운동장 특설무대에서 작곡가 박성훈과 함께하는 제6회 창녕양파가요제를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
창녕양파가요제는 창녕군 특산물인 양파와 마늘의 우수성을 널리 알리고 새로운 지역 문화 콘텐츠를 육성하기 위해서 시작됐다.
특히 창녕마늘은 맥도날드에서 3년 연속 재출시한 창녕갈릭버거가 증명해주듯 품질경쟁력을 인정받고 있다.
이번 가요제는 국민 MC 김승현씨의 진행으로 전국 최고의 아마추어 음악인 8명이 그동안 갈고닦은 실력으로 불꽃 튀는 경연을 선보일 예정이다.
또한 이찬원, 정미애, 이미리, 권률 등 초청 가수의 뜨거운 무대도 준비된다.
최종 대상과 금상에게는 가수 인증서가 수여되며 실력파 8명 중 가수의 꿈을 이룰 사람이 누구인지 현장에서 확인할 수 있다.
행사 종료 후에는 추첨을 통해 김치냉장고 TV, 공기청정기, 진공청소기, 자전거 등 푸짐한 경품을 제공한다.
관람객들의 교통편의를 위해 행사 당일 자하곡주차장과 신창여자중학교에서 창녕공설운동장까지 2대의 셔틀버스가 운행된다.
군 관계자는 “창녕양파, 창녕마늘의 우수성이 널리 알려지길 기대하며 창녕양파가요제가 경남뿐만 아니라 대한민국을 대표하는 가요제로 발전해 나가기를 바란다”고 말했다.
