[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 제10회 의령 우륵 탄신기념 전국가야금경연대회가 열띤 경연을 마치고 성공적으로 마무리됐다.
지난 9일부터 10일까지 양일간 의령군 청소년수련관 펼쳐진 이번 대회는 초·중·고등·대학·일반부에서 118팀의 가야금 기악 및 병창 연주자들이 참가했다.
수준 높은 실력자들이 참가해 저마다의 기량을 뽐낸 이번 대회의 영예의 우륵 대상은 김선아 씨가 문화체육관광부장관상과 함께 상금 500만원을 수상하는 영광을 안았다.
대학부에서는 최 훈, 고등부에서는 박유진, 중등부에서는 이소윤, 초등부에서는 강소율 외 10명의 학생이 각각 도지사상 및 교육감상인 대상을 수상하는 영광을 차지했다.
대회 개최지인 의령군에서 출전한 초등부 류호림학생이 우수상을, 김민서 외 7명의 학생이 단체팀으로 출전해 장려상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이루었다.
의령군 관계자는 “악성 우륵의 탄신지인 의령에서 개최하는 이번 대회를 통해 우륵의 문화적 가치를 재조명하고 가야금 연주 활성화와 인재를 확인하는 성과를 거뒀다”고 말했다.
한편, 이번 대회의 고등·대학·일반부 대상 수상자들은 오늘 15일부터 17일까지 의령군 신반공영주차장 및 우륵문화마당 일원에서 개최하는 ‘2023 의령 신번문화축제’의 가야금갈라쇼에 참여할 예정이다.
