[김완영 기자 = 양주] 양주도시공사(사장 이흥규)는 스마트시티 복합센터가 건축물의 공간안전을 확보하고 소방시설물 안전 관리에 대한 우수성을 인정받아 소방청이 감독하고 한국안전 인증원이 주관하는‘공간안전인증’을 획득했다고 밝혔다.
‘공간안전인증’은 △재난대비의 안전경영·건축방재분야 △대응의 소방·위험물·설비 안전분야 △성능의 설비 성능시험 △강화의 신기술·설비개선 등 모두 7개 분야 143개의 세부 항목으로 평가하는 국내 유일의 기업 자율안전 평가 제도다.
인증 기간은 3년으로 화재안전조사 제외를 비롯해 소방시설 종합정밀점검 면제, 대한민국 안전대상 심사 가산점 부여 등의 혜택을 받게 된다.
공사는 올해 3월 재난·안전 분야의 전문가를 통해 서류심사와 현장평가를 받고 사업장의 위험 요소를 적극적으로 개선한 결과 높은 점수를 얻어 이번 인증 대상으로 최종 확정됨으로써 재난·안전 관리 및 소방시설물 관리 역량에 대한 고무적인 성과를 이루었다.
